Golden Dawn Minerals Inc. is a junior resource exploration company with a well-positioned portfolio of properties, prospective for precious and base metals, situated in the historic Greenwood Mining District, British Columbia, Canada.
Golden Dawn’s strategy for 2012-2013 is to focus attention on the Greenwood Precious Metal Project located 3 km west of the City of Greenwood: It is comprised of three contiguous properties: the Boundary Falls, the Wild Rose, and the Tam O’ Shanter. The Greenwood Project Precious Metal Project has a National Instrument 43 -101 low grade bulk tonnage deposit of 20,000,000 tonnes grading 0.45 g/t gold and anomalous copper. The current gold Inferred Resource is 276,000 ounces. The geological exploration model for this deposit is 1.5 million oz. contained in 75,000,000-100,000,000 tonnes grading 0.45-0.60g/t Gold.
The property has one historic mine with a permitted mill and tailings pond, and an additional mine the Wild Rose Mine where numerous drill intercepts (historic drill holes as well as recent drill holes) have encountered veins ranging from 50 cm to 3 meters containing, from 1.5g/t gold to 41 g/t gold and copper values from 0.5%to 3% copper. These intercepts have been encountered from near the portal of the 350 meter existing adit to a zone ranging 1000 meters to the North, North West and North east.
The company has submitted a permit application to rehabilitate the 7 adits on the May Mac Mine, and anticipates that the permit will be issued in Oct. 2012. For detailed information please see our narrated power point and video presentations on this website.
