Lehman reportedly seeks capital overseas |

Lehman Brothers may seek capital from overseas investors as the brokerage firm tries to calm concerns about its leverage, exposure to troubled mortgage-related assets and access to cash and other short-term sources of money.
Lehman shares slipped 0.2% to $30.50 during morning trading after dropping almost 10% on Tuesday.
The firm may court international investors for new capital, according to a report published Wednesday. The Wall Street Journal reported that while Lehman has raised a lot of money from U.S. investors, it reached out this week to foreign investors, including one in South Korea.
