InBev seeks to throw out Anheuser-Busch board |

InBev said Monday that it would seek to remove the entire board of Anheuser-Busch as it turned up the heat in its hostile $46 billion bid for the U.S. brewer.
The Belgian brewer filed a document with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission called a "preliminary consent solicitation statement," a first step toward ousting the board of the American company.
"It's a means of putting pressure on the Anheuser-Busch board to enter talks," said Jan Meijer, an analyst at Theodoor Gilissen Securities in Amsterdam.
