Inbev Wants to Grow Budweiser Sales Outside USA |

InBev S.A.'s (INB.BT) boss Carlos Brito Monday said he wants to boost sales of Budweiser outside the U.S. as part of the the Belgian- Brazilian brewer's merger pact with Anheuser-Busch Cos. Inc. (BUD) and that he doesn't foresee serious regulatory obstacles to the deal.
Brito told a media conference call that InBev can save at least $1.5 billion over the next threes after completing its newly-announced agreement to buy Anheuser for $52 billion, or $70 a share.
He declined to give projections for how much more it can grow revenues from selling more Budweiser, though.
"We have been conservative," said Carlos Brito. "We have not included any synergies arising from Budweiser (sales)."
