Siemens says sticking to 2009 profits goal |

German industrial group Siemens (SIEGn.DE) is sticking to its main profit target for the fiscal year 2009 although it has seen a drop in new orders since January, its finance chief has said.
Joe Kaeser said the lightbulbs to trains group was keeping its guidelines ahead of the release next month of its second-quarter results covering January to March.
"As long as there are no new figures, the old ones are valid," Kaeser said. "The financial crisis has reached Siemens but Siemens itself is not in crisis."
