Kelly said to be in talks with Bank of America |

Robert Kelly, Bank of New York Mellon's chief executive, reportedly is back in talks about becoming Bank of America's new CEO after the giant lender freed itself from strict government oversight of its compensation.
Kelly has told board members at Bank of New York that he's in discussions with Bank of America, which could announce a new CEO next week, the Wall Street Journal reported Friday, citing unidentified people familiar with the matter.
Robert Kelly, CEO of Bank of New York Mellon Corp., reportedly turned down Bank of America's initial overtures.
Other candidates are Gregory Curl, currently chief risk officer at Bank of America, and Brian Moynihan, president of consumer and small-business banking, the Journal added.
