Domino's CEO Leaving; To Be University Of Michigan Athletic Director |

Domino's Pizza Inc. (DPZ) Chief Executive David A. Brandon will step down in March to join the University of Michigan, his alma mater, as athletic director.
Domino's board of directors plans to name J. Patrick Doyle, president of Domino's USA, as his successor in keeping with the pizza-chain's succession planning.
Brandon, 57 years old, will remain Domino's chairman, and stay on as a special adviser throughout the year.
In an interview, Brandon said he expressed interest in the athletic director position during the last couple of months. Brandon said he had wanted to return to either teaching or coaching since graduating in 1974 from Michigan, where he played college football for three years.
