Walgreen to buy 25 Snyder's Minnesota drugstores |

Drugstore chain Walgreen said Wednesday it would buy 25 Snyder's Drug stores in the Minneapolis area, giving the company an even broader reach in the Midwest.
Some stores will continue operating with Snyder's employees and Walgreen gets access to all prescription files.
Terms of the sale were not disclosed and a Walgreen spokesman could not say how many locations the company already had in the Minneapolis area. The Walgreen Web site lists 10 within the city.
