Online Woes Plague Chase for 2nd Day |

Computer problems prevented millions of Chase customers from gaining access to their accounts over the bank’s Web site for a second day on Wednesday. Even after access was restored, complaints persisted as the rush of customers logging on to the site bogged down the company’s computers, making service spotty.
Chase officials said customers first reported trouble logging on to their accounts on Monday evening. They said technicians worked overnight to correct the problem, and service was restored by 1 a.m. on Wednesday.
But as late as Wednesday afternoon, many Chase customers were still experiencing delays, effectively preventing them from signing onto their accounts. Both consumer and business accounts were affected
