Credit Suisse CEO cautious on outlook, sees opportunities |

Credit Suisse Group's chief executive Friday struck an upbeat tone for the bank's business, even as he cautioned that market turmoil may not end anytime soon.
"I am extremely optimistic about the opportunities ahead of Credit Suisse, even as I remain very cautious about the short-term environment," Credit Suisse CEO Brady Dougan told a business audience in Geneva, according to prepared remarks.
Dougan, who famously struck a more cautious tone at the bank's first-quarter earnings than other CEOs, again said the crisis' end may not be in sight.
"As I said a couple of weeks ago, whenever there seems to be light at the end of the tunnel, it has turned out to be another train coming at us," Dougan said.
