ILFC Orders 63 Boeings Listed at $8.8B |

Boeing Co. got a lift Tuesday as International Lease Finance Corp., the world's largest airline leasing company, ordered 63 Boeing jets with a total list price of $8.8 billion.
The announcement came a day after Boeing rival Airbus got off to a quick start at the weeklong Paris Air Show by announcing orders for planes of varying sizes totaling about $43 billion.
Of the 63 Boeing orders that Los Angeles-based ILFC announced on Tuesday, 50 were for the 787 Dreamliners. That makes IFC the biggest customer for the first commercial jet made of light, sturdy, carbon-fiber composites instead of aluminum.
