Aura’s VIPER to be Displayed at the Association of the U.S. Army (“AUSA”) Winter Symposium and Exposition |

EL SEGUNDO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aura Systems, Inc. (OTCBB: AUSI) announced today that its military VIPER mobile power solution will be showcased at the AUSA exposition in Fort Lauderdale, Florida February 24-26, by Pennsylvania State University Advance Research Laboratory (“ARL”).
The VIPER system will be shown integrated into the Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Truck (“HEMTT”) Wrecker vehicle. The HEMTT wrecker has a heavy-duty crane and winch. It provides heavy wheeled recovery and crane recover/tow/maintenance lift assistance to 10-ton and lighter tactical wheeled vehicles. It's lift-and-tow system can recover disabled vehicles in two to three minutes. The vehicle is produced by Oshkosh Truck Corporation (NYS:OSK).
ARL was established by the U.S. Navy in 1945 and was designated a University Affiliated Research Center in 1988. ARL serves as the trusted agent for the Department of Defense and is primarily a science and technology-based laboratory with leadership in many technical areas including power and energy systems.
