Johnson Controls Sees 18% EPS Growth In FY08 |

Johnson Controls Inc. (JCI) said Tuesday it expects an 18% rise in earnings per share from continuing operations in fiscal 2008 as its building efficiency business continues to grow.
Johnson Controls, Milwaukee, has been relying more on its building efficiency segment for earnings and sales growth as its automotive interiors and seating business has dealt with volume cuts from U.S. auto makers and high raw material prices.
The company also makes automotive batteries.
Chief Executive Stephen A. Roell said in a prepared statement that Johnson Controls expects "double-digit growth rates" in its building efficiency business.
