Gazprom, Dow Chemical Talk Joint Venture |

Russian natural gas monopoly OAO Gazprom said it signed a memorandum of understanding Tuesday with U.S. giant Dow Chemical Co. that outlines potential cooperation on projects in Russia and Germany.
State-controlled Gazprom said the companies would consider creating a joint venture based on Dow's new petrochemical facilities in Germany and cooperating in refining gas from Russia's Yamalo-Nemets autonomous district, and the two will study other possibilities.
