Novell Discloses SEC Inquiry |

Novell Inc. postponed the release of its fiscal fourth-quarter results amid an accounting review by the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Waltham, Mass.-based Novell was scheduled to release Wednesday its results for the quarter ended Oct. 31. The company said it will release the data upon completion of the SEC's review, expected on or before Dec. 31.
"We are confident of our accounting and are working diligently with the SEC to respond to their inquiries," said Chief Financial Officer Dana Russell. "In an abundance of caution, we have chosen to postpone our earnings release. We look forward to completing our dialogue with the SEC."
