Texas Instruments raises sales, earnings views |

Texas Instruments late Wednesday raised sales and earnings outlooks for the third quarter, saying it expects its analog chip business to drive sequential growth.
Shares of the Dallas-based chip maker /quotes/comstock/13*!txn/quotes/nls/txn (TXN 25.18, +0.04, +0.16%) were up a fraction early Thursday.
Late Wednesday, the company said it now expects revenue to be in the range of $2.73 billion to $2.87 billion, compared to a previous range of $2.5 billion to $2.8 billion.
TI also said it now expects earnings in the range of 37 cents a share to 41 cents a share, compared with a previous range of 29 cents a share to 39 cents a share.
