IBM Rival Plans to Pursue Antitrust Complaint |

T3T Inc. "absolutely" plans to appeal a summary judgment dismissing its antitrust suit against International Business Machines Corp., T3T President Steven Friedman said in an interview.
T3T disclosed Wednesday that it had been contacted by the Justice Department for information about IBM and the mainframe computer market. The company, based in Tampa, Fla., was previously known as T3 Technologies.
Mr. Friedman said he received the letter last week around the same time that U.S. District Judge Lewis A. Kaplan in New York dismissed the company's antitrust suit. "We believe there were serious errors in the judge's opinion," Mr. Friedman said. "The Department of Justice believes there's enough meat there to warrant an inquiry and the European Union is continuing to investigate."
