Microsoft Shares Shrug Off CFO Swap |

Microsoft(MSFT Quote)'s surprise CFO swap is not expected to impact investors, despite the impending departure of Chris Liddell, the company's finance guru.
The company's stock dipped 16 cents, or 0.53%, to $29.75, despite a modest uptick in tech stocks that saw the Nasdaq rise 0.33%. The software giant announced Liddell's departure late Tuesday, explaining that the popular New Zealander had resigned "to pursue other opportunities.
" Keen to maintain continuity, Microsoft has already promoted Peter Klein, the corporate vice president and CFO of the company's Business Division, to Liddell's role.
