EU pledges transparency on stress tests |

The results of stress tests covering more than 90 European-based banks will be published in two tranches, with the outcomes for individual institutions delayed by two weeks, senior European Union officials indicated on Tuesday.
Didier Reynders, Belgium’s finance minister, said the process would be organised into two steps – with publication of consolidated results going ahead on July 23, and then further “deconsolidated” results about two weeks later.
The minister said the interval was necessary to break down the broader results, but added that countries remained committed to disclosing full details of the outcome of the tests.
“We want to go for publication with the maximum transparency,” he said
